The key was transforming a substantial but disused greenhouse in Oldham into a cosy winter garden, as part of a larger project.

By removing a mid-section partition glass panel, we were able to put the full depth of the space to good use, which in turn allows for a small terrace with a table and chairs to be installed.

Existing heating pipes in the greenhouse made it possible to introduce a palette of exotic plants, creating a warm and relaxing retreat away from the house.

This is proof of how much you can do with a small space to create something the perfect spot to enjoy a winter evening with a good book and a glass of wine.

Hothouse
