The client’s brief for this garden design project in Greenfield, Oldham, was to create a sophisticated and functional space that felt like an extension of their home. They also requested a new wood store, as well as a replacement for the trellis fence and gate separating the front and back garden areas.

Another key element of the brief was to establish a usable social area near their newly installed contemporary glass extension. To fulfil this, we designed an intimate space close to the house, incorporating raised beds made from natural stone with York stone copings, filled with scented plants for a sensory experience.

A bespoke gate and handrail were crafted by a renowned sculptor and artisan blacksmith we have collaborated with many times before, adding a unique and artistic touch to the garden.
