MARPLE BRIDGE

Over the years, we’ve taken on many challenging projects involving slopes, and this landscape design in Marple Bridge, Cheshire, was one of them.

This project was particularly special, situated in its own secluded private valley, which gently slopes down to meet the River Goyt. The client’s home sat comfortably within the plot, but it needed something extraordinary to harmonise with the natural surroundings while delivering a striking wow factor.

Our design features gabion steps that guide you on a journey beneath a canopy of tree ferns, leading to a lower path with stunning views back up through layers of rolling planting. From there, newly installed steps connect the top balcony to the garden, creating a seamless flow between the house and its breathtaking landscape.
